A Short but Busy Week

This week, teachers had the opportunity for professional development. We had two inspiring days as we looked at and further developed our vision for our school community.

Although students were only in the classroom for three days this week, there was still a lot of learning happening.

We were able to visit the Life Education caravan where we learned about teamwork and developing leadership skills. Although our class is currently quite small, it was great to see students, both young and old, taking on the role of being good leaders.

Here are some pictures of our learning this week:

Learning Inside and Outside the Classroom

At Montessori@Howick Primary we have the fantastic opportunity to join in with the rest of the school during school-wide activities. This week our students learnt some basic tennis skills as well as sharing in the Junior Splash Day and Senior Swim Carnival. We also have use of the facilities including the pool and library.
